The Jersey Crème Co. was established in 1906 and produced and distributed syrup flavors to bottlers and mercantiles to be used in making carbonated beverages.
With a rich crème flavor, which was unique among the sodas of the day, Jersey Crème became known as the “Perfect Drink”.
The popularity of these flavors helped them build a fairly wide bottling and distribution network, stretching from the Eastern Coast of the United States, into Canada an reaching as far west as Fort Worth Texas.
The syrups were produced in Chicago and shipped throughout the US. A large 64 ounce syrup bottle sold for 5 cents and would produce hundreds of serving of the delicious drink.
